Youth Action Plan Launch

Last week we attended the launch of the Department of Communities WA Youth Action Plan. This three-year plan will deliver initiatives for young people across the state who are aged between 10 and 25.

More than 2,200 young people were consulted to shape this plan and the most frequent issues were developed into six focus areas. These focus areas are:

• Amplifying young voices
• Climate action
• Achieving goals
• Cost of living
• Embracing diversity and inclusion.

We are excited to contribute to this plan and to continue connecting with young people across the state. The launch of the plan provided us the opportunity to remind the young people in attendance that they have the right to safe and ethical health support.
