Mental Health Week 2020 09 October 2020 Mental Health Week is a national week celebrated each year in October starting with World Mental Health Day on October 10. This year’s Mental Health Week theme is Strengthening Our Community – Live, Learn, Work, Play. TheMental Health Act 2014sets out the complaints HaDSCO is able to accept. Complaint Trends Reports 01 July 2020 The Health and Disability Services Complaints Office (HaDSCO) collects information from private, public and not-for-profit organisations every year through its Data Collection Program. HaDSCO publishes two reports, on health and disability, which provide an in-depth analysis of the external complaints trends. A high level summary of the data is published in our Annual Report. Disability Services Complaints During NDIS Transition 21 May 2020 The State Government announced on 21 May 2020 that Western Australia's transition to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Quality and Safeguards Commission will be deferred from 1 July 2020 to 1 December 2020. Information is available in the media statement from the State Government. The Health and Disability Services Complaints Office (HaDSCO) will continue to take complaints about disability services provided in Western Australia, including those funded by the NDIS.
